Ubitelcare presents its Ubicardio product, a platform that allows real-time and remote monitoring of two cardiac pathologies of high incidence worldwide, such as heart failure and arrhythmias. We present a very user-friendly, efficient, low-cost system that provides a value-added solution for patients suffering from these cardiac pathologies. Our system represents a significant advance, given that cardiology specialists currently check their patients in person about once every 3 months, which means that, between these check-ups, the specialist is completely unaware of the evolution of the cardiac pathology of all the patients under his or her control. The savings for both the public and private health system are high, since the absence of control and monitoring of patients with cardiac pathology means that, in a significant number of these patients, the decompensation progresses to serious situations, which means that these patients have to be admitted to hospital as seriously ill. Hospital sources state that on average these patients spend 10 days in hospital, with a daily cost of €1,000, so the savings of avoiding these situations in patients thanks to Ubicardio are €10,000 per patient, which, given the high number of patients suffering from heart failure, the savings for these health systems are €10,000 per patient.
